Since our inception in 2016, Dillon & Semenovich Inc. is particularly known for its stonework construction and historic stonewall reconstruction.  We are experts in constructing free standing stonewalls and pillars in various medium, from bluestone “Colonial Wall” to natural fieldstone or cobbles, to cut stone.  We have reconstructed numerous failing retaining walls in both residential and municipal projects throughout the Hudson Valley and are familiar with the various historic styles of walls in the region.  We construct dry stack (dry laid) walls, mortar wall construction, retaining walls, as well as design and install drainage systems for retaining walls.  We employ practices and materials which are DOT approved and/or period correct, depending on your application and desired result.  

We also offer construction of retaining walls using segmental block systems and can design a retaining wall to increase usable space on any property.  We do this by either extending an area with fill on a downslope or cutting into an upslope.
